ある研究所で機密情報を収めたSDカードが紛失する事件が発生。幼い頃から常に事件に巻き込まれる不運な男、隠館厄介(岡田将生)は犯人だと疑われ、無実を証明するために仲介業者に探偵を依頼する。そんな厄介の前に現れたのは、眠るとその日の記憶がリセットされる忘却探偵・掟上今日子(新垣結衣)だった。今日子はすぐに「真犯人はわかった」と言い切り、安心する厄介。しかしその矢先、今日子は犯人に眠らされ推理の全てを忘れてしまう…。
