居住在某高档社区的沼田家拥有令人欣羡的生活，父亲一茂（板尾创路 饰）担任某大型公司人事部主管；母亲佳代子（铃木保奈美 饰）温柔体贴操持家中的一切；长子慎一（神木隆之介 饰）学业优秀，运动全能；唯有正在上初中的小儿子茂之（浦上晟周 饰）因受到欺负将自己闭锁家中，拒绝登校。担忧儿子的未来，佳代子请来了号称辅导的学生100%考入东大的家庭教师吉本荒野（樱井翔 饰）。吉本乖张反常的行事作风让沼田夫妇充满焦虑，可是巨额的违约金让他们不得不听之任之。而这名教师的到来，仿佛在看似平静的沼田家投入一颗石子，不仅激起了不尽的涟漪，也让每个家庭成员心中黑暗与脆弱的一面暴露无遗……
