求婚妙术
影片根据杰克瑞治的原著改编而来，描述一名濒临破产的中年花花公子Henry Graham（沃尔特·马修 饰）企图追求一名富有的女子，并且要在六周内完成任务，但最后他找到的对象竟是一名笨得不可理喻的富婆。在一连串捧腹大笑的故事中Henry Graham也受到大大小小的教训。本片是部笑料百出的浪漫喜剧，伊莲·梅在本片中一人身兼编、导、演三职，同时影片上映后成绩都非常不错，一向出色的沃尔特·马修与之相比都略逊一筹。
